Phrasal Verbs with DO.
Here are some phrasal verbs or group verbs with the word DO.
Do away – abolished.
(समाप्त कर दिया गया।)
Ex- He has done away with that rule.
The boy is from a very reputable family. There are some strict rules that everyone follows in the family. But the boy one day did something unconventional. All the family members were shocked and warned him about the rules. But the boy has done away with those rules.
Do for – work for or serve as
(किसी चीज़ के लिए काम )
Ex – This presentation will do for an example for the next generation.
Joseph is the head of the family. As a responsible member of the family, he always takes care of others. He believes that his behavior will do for an example for the next generation.
Do off – take off ex- Do off your coat.
(उतरना)
Do on- put on ex- Do on your coat.
(पहनना)
Little John is 10 years old. He is going with his mom and dad to attend a wedding party. His mom told him to do on the brown coat that was specially made for this occasion. Late at night when John returned his dad told him to do off the coat.
Down up – Fatigued
(थका हुआ)
Ex- The dog is down up due to running.
From today I have started running early in the morning. And my dog has followed me all the way. He is down up due to running.
Do with – Use of it

Ex- What are you going to do with these cards?
One day when I was chilling on the couch while playing a video game, suddenly mom came into the room. Seeing my room a little messy she asked me picking up a screw “What are you going to do with this thing Ron?”
Done with- Finished

ex- Remember to return the equipment when done with.
