Embrace the mistake - Short English reading comprehension passage

Embrace the Mistakes

Maya stood in the middle of her new bakery, staring at a giant bowl of ruined dough. She was trying to bake her grandmother's famous sweet rolls for the grand opening, but she had accidentally added too much salt and doubled the yeast. The dough was rising wildly out of control, bubbling over the edges. She felt a wave of panic, ready to burst into tears.

Instead of throwing it all away, Maya took a deep breath. She decided to experiment. She rolled the salty, puffy dough thin, brushed it with garlic butter, and threw it into the hot oven.

The result was a batch of crispy, savory flatbreads that tasted absolutely incredible. When the doors opened, the customers devoured them, begging for more.

Sometimes, the wrong turn leads to the right destination.

Our lives rarely follow a perfect recipe. We stumble, mix up the ingredients, and create unexpected messes. But dwelling on the mishap only keeps us stuck in the kitchen. True growth happens when we pivot, adapt, and look at our blunders with fresh eyes. By embracing the chaos of our missteps, we give ourselves permission to accidentally create something far better than what we originally planned.
